The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof.(Dr.) Anju Bhasin, along with the Registrar, Dr. Jatinder Khajuria of Cluster University, Jammu visited the campus of G.G.M. Science College, a lead college among the cluster of five colleges of Jammu, on 22nd March, 2017. They were received by Nodal Principal, Dr. Ajeet Angral, team of OSDs and Heads of various Departments on their arrival and had a brief interaction in chamber.
A formal welcome address was presented by worthy Principal of the College Dr. Ajeet Angral in the smart class room.

A high level meeting of officers of the Cluster University, Jammu with all the heads of the faculty Departments of the College along with OSD’s from the college took place in the Smart Class Room at 11:30am. Prof. Ranjeet Singh Jamwal, Coordinator IQAC/OSD to Vice Chancellor gave a detailed Power Point Presentation about the college.

The entire data related to the academics viz., intake of students for the last three years (subject wise, combination wise and gender wise), pass percentage and rank holders of the college and non academic aspects of the college was presented. He also gave detailed account of the non teaching as well as teaching faculty working as Assistant Professors and Associate Professors with their academic qualifications like M.Phils, Ph.Ds etc. The Presentation followed by the interaction of heads of all the faculty departments with the Vice Chancellor and Registrar. In the meeting the Vice Chancellor lauded the efforts of the college and hoped that keeping in mind the heritage and contribution of the college in the development of Jammu region, the college will reach new heights in the coming years under Cluster University.

The meeting concluded with the formal vote of thanks by Dr. Sanjay Verma, Associate Professor, Department of Physics and OSD to Vice Chancellor. The programme was conducted by Dr. Chanchal Angral, Assistant Prof. Department of Zoology.
After the meeting Vice Chancellor and Registrar went to various department of the college.

After thorough discussions, interactions and deliberations the visitors were given a warm send off by the Principal, OSD’s and the college team.
