About us 

English as a subject has been a part of the college curriculum since its inception in 1904. Post-Graduate programme in English was introduced in 2004 which has been running successfully ever since. The Department provides best learning experience which is a blend of academic as well as co-curricular activities for its students to ensure their all-round growth. We have well qualified and experienced staff to chisel the communication skills of the students at the UG level and supervise the students in compiling their dissertation at the PG level for the fulfilment of their master’s programme.
