As a part of the institutional commitment to help the poor and needy students of the College, Financial Assistance Committee of the G.G.M. Science College, Jammu finalized the names of the 133 students for Financial Assistance out of College students Aid Fund. 119 students were given at the rate of Rs 6000/- per student and 14 orphan students at the rate of Rs 8000/- per student. The payment to all the students was transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.Dr. Ajeet Angral, Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of the committee members for the entire exercise undertaken by them to help the students and advised the students on the occasion to utilize the said amount for academic activities.Prof. Baldev Krishan Sharma gave a brief report about the students welfare activities Prof. Ashok Kumar, senior faculty member present the welcome address while vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Aran Kumar.
